Kips Bay Townhouse
An extensive renovation of this townhouse included a re-creation of the historic bay window on the street facade, structural work to open up the interior flow, roof deck and solar canopy, and enlarged doors and windows into the rear yard. Built-in custom millwork is featured throughout along with new bathrooms and an enlarged kitchen and dining space.
The sunken living room looks out through expansive sliding doors onto the rear garden and features a brick clad fireplace. New handrails provide an elegant frame for the various living spaces. An arched entry to the master suite frames a secluded haven with nine foot tall windows to bring the outside in.
